I earned my degree in graphic design in 1983 combining my knowledge of color and design and a passion for all things floral. I ultimately ended up in a vocation that is a natural extension of my love for plants and gardening.

In 1998 I started my own container gardening business on the seacoast of New Hampshire. My mission was to enhance every entryway deck and walkway with a visual impact of lush unique plantings. It was in my off season when time would allow. I began accepting invitations to organize and design floral for small backyard gatherings and events. I was thrilled to be invited to help take part in their special day and delighted with their enthusiastic reactions to the work we provided. It was very soon after this it became obvious to me that I needed to further my interests and was ready to pursue them. In the following winter, I started planning the plant list for the plants that I would soon use in my future work.

In the fall of 2004 to 2008 I honed my skills as a flower designer and bridal consultant in a small local shop. There, I mastered my skills designing floral that has transformed the insides of ballrooms, as well as the most festive backyard gatherings. I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to assist clients by navigating them through a celebration influenced by their own traditions and symbolism.

Gratification is what I feel when I see the flowers bloom that I planted in the earth. Honored is watching the tears flow from a brides face with happiness when she gazes at her bridal bouquet from that planted patch. Blessed is what I am with the support given to me by my family and friends who nurtured my interests and passion that's become my life's work.
